Can you sleep with a period cup?

Is it safe to use a Menstrual cup while sleeping? This is the question that many users get when they are starting to use Menstrual cups during their Menstrual Cycle.

Most of the people are misled that the menstrual cup will get lost in the body if it inserted into the vagina while sleeping.

Absolutely, not!

The cervix is a very tiny hole and one shouldn't worry that their menstrual cup will get into the cervix. Even a tampon will not get into the cervix.

So there is no harm in using a menstrual cup while sleeping. In fact, it is the best alternative to maxi pads or tampons during all night since menstrual cups can be worn upto 12 hours.

But make sure to empty the menstrual cup before going to bed or use a new cup. In order to avoid the leakage.

It is recommended to use larger cups (≥40 ml) for Heavy flow.
