Silicone lubes - Who should not use it?

Silicone lubes - who should not use it?

Silicone lubricants offer a different feel from water-based personal lubricants.

Silicone oils may have toxic side effects, and as with petroleum-based products, they may coat your skin, affecting its normal functions and permeability. Silicone can have many names on product labels, including dimethicone, highly polymerized methyl polysilozane, methyl polysiloxane, mirasil DM 20, and viscasil 5M.

Silicone based lubricants should not be used with sex toys and dilators as most of the sex toys are made of silicone. Silicone lubricants when applied over silicone toys they get stuck to them and they break the material and damage the sex toy. And it is not that easy to wash them as well. If not washed properly they become breeding ground for bacteria.

Silicone lubes are not for those people who like exploring oral sex as they taste very bad. Silicone lubes leave a coating on your skin which will make u feel bad and uncomfortable till the time it totally wanes off from the skin.

People who are a cleanliness freak stay away from silicone lubes as they may not get off your sheets or other fabrics that easily. Removing them will be a mammoth task.

People who are looking for cheaper lubes stay away from Silicone lubes as they are expensive than water based lubes.

Well if you happen to be one of the people who are not comfortable with the above things please do not use silicone based lubes.
