Reasons for the fertilty problems in women

 

What is infertility?

 

Millions of women had faced infertility problems and are having difficulty to get pregnant. About 30% of the cases, it is due to problem with the women's fertility. Smoking plays one of the crucial factors for increasing risks in Woman's infertility. If it is in higher levels in woman’s blood, it leads to foetal alcohol syndrome.

 

Alcohol:

Intake of excessive alcohol and poor drugs might lead to fertility malfunctions. It should be recommended to avoid recreational drugs or cocaine when trying to get pregnant.

 

Weight and thyroid disorders:

 

Being overweight or underweight and thyroid disorders might have difficulty to become pregnant. Reproductive organs need proper diet and exercise in order to ease with pregnancy.

 

Chemotherapy and radiations:

It is used to treat the cancer, but it falls under the category of risks that lead to Female fertility problems.

 

When should I approach the doctor?

 

Women who are trying to get pregnant for a year or six months if woman’s  age over 35 should seek the doctors. Women should tell about their problems to doctors if they have irregular periods, frequent miscarriage, pelvic inflammatory diseases and endometriosis. After that ,they will bring you as well as your partner in subsequent tests such as checking your ovaries and uterus using ultrasound technology, tracking your Ovulation patterns using ovulation kit and checking whether your fallopian tube is open using a test called hysterosalpingogram .
